About OurTales
1. What OurTales is
OurTales lets you build and publish a real website — a "Tale" — using our tools, templates, and hosting. A Tale can be a Story page (a portfolio, wedding site, personal brand page, or invitation) or a Shop, a small business storefront where customers place orders online and pay the seller directly. A website and a store, without the usual cost or paperwork.
2. Who it's for
OurTales is built for India's Instagram-native creators and small businesses — people who want a real website or shop without needing design or coding experience.
3. How it works
Answer a few simple questions in plain language — no blank page, no design skills required. We write and lay out the page for you, and you can tweak anything you like. Then you share your own custom link, ourtales.in/yourname, anywhere — Instagram bio, WhatsApp status, a business card.
4. Built for real variety
Every Tale is built from a real mix of layouts, colour palettes, and font pairings — dozens of layouts, colour palettes, and font pairings — so pages don't come out looking identical.
5. How selling works
If you open a Shop, each order arrives in your Orders screen and your email — no commission on what you sell, nothing to register, and no separate hosting to buy. Customers pay you directly (for example by UPI) and you check your own account and mark each order as paid; OurTales never holds or checks the money.
6. Where we're based
OurTales is made in India.
